On My Mind: Marni at H&M

Last night I attended the preview for Marni for H&M, set to launch, March 8th. This collection will likely set records in my opinion, it looks fantastic, there wasn’t a piece I didn’t want for my own. Even the video directed by Sofia Coppola, adds to it’s most covetable appeal. There are full men’s and women’s collections, including jewellery and accessories. And let me just say that the jewellery is as want-worthy as its full fashion counterpart, and I have to say Marni jewellery is what made me take note many years ago. However, the amazing pattern play that Consuelo Castiglioni has made notoriously famous, is in full effect here. Beautiful bold pattern, playing effortlessly alongside golden brocades, a hippie sensuality with an urban approach, would best describe this collection. And as I say, a total and utter yearning for Marni at H&M.
